My passion is patient care, helping others, and personal growth. I am a past president of the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians and currently serving as the vice chair of the Tennessee Board of Optometry. In my 20+ years of practice, I have worked in the referral setting, commercial setting, opened two rural private practices cold, and partnered to buy a third optometric practice. I enjoy speaking, coaching, mentoring, and presenting.
When I’m not working, I am supporting my husband and kids in their ambitions. I am a football coach’s wife whose kids love and play multiple sports. I have morphed from a former college athlete to a fantastic cheerleader. I believe grit is the key to success.

“Learn something every day” is my approach to life. My passion is taking care of patients and improving lives through eyecare. I am the owner of Northwest Tennessee Eye Clinic in Martin, Tennessee. I have practiced in this small rural community for over 25 years. I am active in Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians and my local chapter. Dedicated to life long learning as a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and mentoring interns from Southern College of Optometry. I enjoy speaking throughout the country promoting optometry and challenging colleagues.
I enjoy traveling, family time and life on the farm. Giving back go my community through community service such as Kiwanis, coaching, and We Care Ministries is a part of who I am.
